Hi, I'm Jaemii

A Black and Queer screenwriter, storyteller, and opinionated individual with a love for the bold, the bizarre, and the deeply emotional. I create stories that center the people we don’t see enough of in the genres we love: sci-fi, fantasy, psychological horror, and whatever else I feel like bending to my will.

 

When I’m not developing scripts, I host Outta the Margins, a podcast where I drag bad media with love, unpack overlooked narratives, and reflect on the stories that shape our culture. My work lives at the intersection of chaos and care, mixing critique, humor, and cultural commentary in everything I do.

 

I believe that Black and Queer voices deserve main-character energy, on screen, behind the scenes, and on the mic. If you’re looking for creativity with perspective, storytelling with teeth, or just someone who knows when a flop is still worth watching…you’re in the right place.
